The Department of Industry Innovation, Science and Resources selects Advanced Composites Manufacturing CRC in program worth $70 million

The Department of Industry Innovation, Science and Resources Cooperative Research Program has allocated $70 million to the Advanced Composite Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (ACM-CRC), over a ten year period commencing 2022. Rux Energy was a member of the consortium bid and is proud to be a foundation partner of the ACM-CRC. The company will collaborate with the University of New South Wales and other industry partners in projects totalling more than $20 million over 6 years commencing 2023.

Dr Chanel Leong is Head of Project Management and Operations responsible for managing Rux Energy R&D projects across Research, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure timely delivery of our product roadmap and funding milestones. Chanel has over five years experience in product development at biotech startups in Europe and Canada, focused on developing disruptive, nanomaterials-based technologies. Chanel completed a PhD Chemistry in Metal-Organic Framework Materials at the University of Sydney.
