In December 2022, delegates from around the world gathered in Sydney to share their expertise and insight at the International Technical Committee on hydrogen standards, ISO TC-197, for its plenary meetings, where Rux Energy CEO and Founder Dr Jehan Kanga was honoured to present Rux’s technology for hydrogen storage, and participate in the strategic discussion.
Industry experts are instrumental in the development and adoption of hydrogen standards – working closely with key stakeholders to move Australia towards a more sustainable future is a must, and Rux is pleased to be able to contribute in this meaningful way to the development of the Hydrogen Technologies Strategic Work Plan.
As Dr Kanga shared on the day, “ensuring zero emission hydrogen safety in every jurisdiction across the world is critical to increasing the velocity of the energy transition, as it forms the foundation of hydrogen’s social licence to operate”.
Strategic Initiatives Manager and event organiser Emelia Addo-Appiah personally thanked Rux for their contribution, which she described as invaluable.
The committee’s terms of reference cover all aspects of hydrogen, including production, storage and handling, measurement, transport, transmission and distribution.
