Rux Energy won the competitive award for its breakthrough hydrogen storage technology.
With more than 20 years of history, hy-fcell is one of the longest running trade fairs and conferences in the sector. Recognising that hydrogen and fuel cells play a crucial role in achieving climate targets, the award honours outstanding developments in one of the most promising fields of technology of our time.
Supported by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector; the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation; and Messe Stuttgart, Germany, the innovation prize is awarded across three categories.
Rux Energy secured the prize for Products & Markets – a category aimed at companies and institutions with market-oriented research and application ideas.
The award was presented on 4 October by Dr. Andre Baumann, State Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, to Rux Energy CEO & Founder Dr Jehan Kanga and European Director Jörg Schüler during the Opening Plenary of the hy-fcell conference. In addition, the winners were honoured at the hy-fcell Networking Night.
hy-fcell is one of the best opportunities for the international hydrogen and fuel cell community to meet and discuss technological advances, transfer knowledge and access international markets, especially in Europe.
