Rux Energy wins 3rd Place at PIER71 Challenge Singapore

Rux Energy was honoured to be awarded as one of the prize winners of the PIER71™ 2023 grand final at the inaugural Great Circle event in Singapore in September 2023.

Rux Energy was the only non-Singaporean company to won a place and was selected as one of 18 companies from 150 global applicants. The PIER71 program offered incredible professional development opportunities for start-ups.

The competition and professional development program was supported by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and National University of Singapore, as well as all the domain experts, mentors and sponsors who generously shared their time and expertise. Singapore is a key territory for Rux Energy and the compony is committed to forward to developing the relationships fostered by the program.

Operations Process Excellence

Dr Chanel Leong is Head of Project Management and Operations responsible for managing Rux Energy R&D projects across Research, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure timely delivery of our product roadmap and funding milestones. Chanel has over five years experience in product development at biotech startups in Europe and Canada, focused on developing disruptive, nanomaterials-based technologies. Chanel completed a PhD Chemistry in Metal-Organic Framework Materials at the University of Sydney.
