At SMW, The PIER71™ Smart Port Challenge is an annual innovation competition organised by PIER71™ to find the best breakthrough solutions from tech start-ups that will drive digital transformation and address key challenges faced by the maritime industry. Matthew Gan spoke to Dr Jehan Kanga, founder of the only non-Singaporean start-up among the winners of last year’s PIER71™ Smart Port Challenge, where it claimed the third prize.
