At the CleanEnviro Summit Singapore, 16-18 June 2026, Rux Energy Founder & CEO, Dr Jehan Kanga, shared his vision for the Second Wave of the Green Energy Revolution, noting, “The next century of prosperity will belong to nations that master energy security.”

The story of solar and wind has shown us that technology scaling drives dramatic cost reductions. Jehan Kanga noted, “The First Wave was solar and wind. The Second Wave is hydrogen.”

The challenge is now no longer how to produce hydrogen at scale, as cost reductions are being achieved – it is how to store and transport it safely, efficiently, and affordably.

At Rux Energy, we’re tackling this challenge with our breakthrough metal-organic framework (MOF) technology, enabling low-pressure, high-density hydrogen storage using existing LNG infrastructure. By dramatically reducing the cost, energy requirements, and safety risks associated with hydrogen storage and distribution, we aim to unlock new opportunities across maritime, heavy industry, transport, and distributed energy systems.

Singapore sits at the heart of global energy and trade networks. As the world transitions towards cleaner fuels, technologies that improve energy security, resilience, and affordability will play a critical role in shaping the next century of prosperity.
