Clean technology innovation is one of the 3 focus areas within the Net Zero Industry and Innovation Program. With more than $1 billion to support the 3 areas, NSW Department of Climate Change, Environment, Energy and Water is partnering with industry and is committed to transforming NSW into an innovative, thriving low carbon economy. Rux Energy received the Climate Tech Commercialisation Grant to advance its technology for innovative methods of storing hydrogen in highly porous nano-materials, in March 2023. These materials will provide industrial users with a lower cost hydrogen storage system.
