Freeport East is proud to be part of a consortium including Carnot Ltd, Rux Energy UK Ltd, Cranfield University and other UK innovators that has been awarded funding under the UK Government Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC4), in February 2024, to develop ground-breaking solutions to transform maritime decarbonisation.
Dr Chanel Leong is Head of Project Management and Operations responsible for managing Rux Energy R&D projects across Research, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure timely delivery of our product roadmap and funding milestones. Chanel has over five years experience in product development at biotech startups in Europe and Canada, focused on developing disruptive, nanomaterials-based technologies. Chanel completed a PhD Chemistry in Metal-Organic Framework Materials at the University of Sydney.
