Dr Marlene Kanga, Chair Rux Energy, was awarded the Portuguese Engineers Association International Distinction on National Engineers Day 23 November 2024, in recognition of her collaboration between the Order of Engineers Portugal and the global Engineering community, especially as President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, between 2017 and 2019.

At the presentation, Marlene said that “as the world faces its greatest challenges such as climate change, and where engineers have an increasingly important role in developing solutions to these, collaboration and cooperation, both nationally and internationally, is essential, especially for a better sustainable world.”

At Rux Energy our scientists and engineers are working hard to develop the hydrogen storage solutions which will be essential to reducing carbon emissions for our net-zero emission future.
