A project to further develop advanced nanoporous materials patented by Sydney-based Hydrogen storage startup Rux Energy and the University of Sydney is one of nine projects to receive the maximum grant of $3 million. The project is supported through the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science and Resources Cooperative Research Centres (CRCP-16) program.

Dr Chanel Leong is Head of Project Management and Operations responsible for managing Rux Energy R&D projects across Research, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure timely delivery of our product roadmap and funding milestones. Chanel has over five years experience in product development at biotech startups in Europe and Canada, focused on developing disruptive, nanomaterials-based technologies. Chanel completed a PhD Chemistry in Metal-Organic Framework Materials at the University of Sydney.
